So this is my story.
Well after searching the Oh so wonderful web, I came upon this site. Anyway, let me enlighten you how I was infected by a vampire. Nearly two years ago I was at this club having a good time with friends, you know, drinking, dancing and what not. No sooner we get back to my buddies house when I feel a spirit force it's way into me. Please trust me, this did happen. I realized a few hours later after sobering up that this spirit's name was Carmilla, a vampire spirit. You ask yourself "did he really receive this spirit? or was it the alcohol?" Believe me, I wish it was just the alcohol. Anyway, a few days later I developed this insatiable appetite for blood, started to develop an acute sense of hearing and develop a heightened reaction time and super sense of awareness... Truthfully I am scared. This spirit has since left me but what she left behind was me turning into a child of the night. Be forewarned though, NEVER BELIEIVE what you read in novels or see in the movies. Vampires are born or made in many ways. I was turned. Some people are born with a red caul upon their head and become vampires and some suffer a violent demise and return as vampires. History has proven the existence of vampires. I feel sluggish during the day, alive at night, have the need to drink blood for energy and my canine teeth are taking on a strange new shape. If after reading my personal account you feel that I am a liar, that is ok. I wish this never happened to me but I must live the rest of my days as a vampire. I only tell of this to find those like me since no two vampires are exactly alike.. I can tell real vampires from the fakes. I have no need for the attention seeking emo kids or the role players. I need to find other night feeders.

I really wanna help man...honestly, Demonia it actually sounds probable. Compare what he is saying to someone just coming out of there awakening and going into there crazy phase (when you don't do research on what you are and start acting like movie vampire) This guy could have just had his awakening and rationalized it in a hallucination of he got "turned". Does that sound fair?

Re: So this is my story.
I suppose so, which is why I mentioned to try again later, after doing a little more soul searching/self discovery. Yes everyone's story is different, yes everyone will experience things in their own way.
I'm just not completely convinced. there are one too many frosted flakes in this cereal bowl for my taste.

I'm sorry, but I have to say that after "infected" and "Camilla" I couldn't say this story was believable anymore. Demonic possession may be what you're looking for, if anything.

Re: So this is my story.
Say what you will, I have been trying to debunk what has happened to me with a several scientific methods. And to the person who put up the Wikipedia article, yeah, Wikipedia is oh so reliable. Demonic possession was ruled out as well. And I use the word infected because there was no other term to think of. I understand the skeptics, but there are a lot of fakes in this world. Personally, I know in every fiber of my being what I have become. That is all that matters. I had plenty of time to search within myself if what happened was real. History has been riddled with many types of vampires from several meticulous records in European history. In the end, I need not belief from others. I will continue to thrive on blood for spiritual and biological needs, continue my research and live apart from the oh so trendy 1990's vamp trend that people hang on to.

Not very smart.admiralchaos wrote:And to the person who put up the Wikipedia article, yeah, Wikipedia is oh so reliable.
I didn't link Wikipedia because it's reliable, it was just a reference to your apparent ignorance that Carmilla is a vampire fiction novel published in 1872. It has nothing to do with Wikipedia or reliability, it's fact.
It's called culture or knowledge. So you claim to have been infected by a vampire spirit named Carmilla and yet you made no research whatsoever about it? At least not enough to even realize there's a fiction book about a "vampire spirit named Carmilla"? Get real. If vampires were like that they would've been extinct by now. Thankfully they're far more knowledgable and wise than this petty show people put up online...

Re: So this is my story.
If I may say a few more things lest I beat this subject to death. I could have chosen better words for my personal account. Also, I realized this last night as I pondered on this, ever since my last feeding which was some time ago, my overall strength has been degrading over time. Also, I have a negative reaction to caffeine products, which when the vampire spirit has left me, I have had no problem with. Humans just don't randomly develop a reaction like that instantly. Another thing is that there are several thousand accounts in modern history in which people lay claim to receiving vampire spirits which has changed them in similar ways. Coincidence? I think not. Trust me on this also, I have never heard of the novel "Carmilla". Some people out there are extreme vampire fanatics so much that they would do anything to convince themselves that they are a vampire. I am not one those people. And why would I lie? Eventually liars are found out. I hate liars. That and maybe the spirits name was not Carmilla, maybe that is what I interpreted it as. I never desired to be a vampire. I have spent several months researching folklore, medical journals, psychology excerpts and written history on the vampire subject. But I can tell you that all day long. This is just my side to what happened. I am here, I am changed and I need blood. And no, I do not want to live like this. Remember, when you point the finger at someone, you have three pointing back at you.

Re: So this is my story.
again......trust me? Really? Anytime that comes up....no need to waste additional time with this.....so if you feel you need blood....you will not find any here so this is not the place to solicit .....I suggest you do what others do...get a part time job at a local hospital....they have blood bags there....and as I said....there is always skydiving.....trust me....

Re: So this is my story.
I am not here to solicit or find anyone to give me blood. I just wanted to get my personal account out there strictly for opinions and feedback. And yes, word choice and phrases are lackluster at best. It would be nice to find others like me out there, but all I find is so called experts that do nothing but bash people who give an honest testimony.

Re: So this is my story.
@admiralchaos, if you truly stand by your testimony, could you have in fact been fed on by a "vampiric spirit" and in result believed you had been "turned" into one? when someone decides to take energy from another, a piece of themselves mixes with whomever they're taking, or feeding from. you could be suffering the after effects of being a victim. and if you were at a bar, someone who was there that night could've just seen you as an easy target and latched on.
the way you describe your story just makes me think of 1, bullshit (because i did look up your facebook link, and there is a lot of vampire related game things/whatever they're called on there), or 2, perhaps you didn't understand that someone fed off of you and there are side effects on both ends. side effects that should subside, and that you could be perpetuating in your own mind. or you could have completely deluded yourself because you like the idea of the hollywood vampire so much. just saying.
