A wanderer
Exploring spirituality in all it's forms in hopes of discovering more of myself. Just trying to find the path that fits the best. If that makes sense. I really hate introductions I'm so awkward at them. What to tell you about me? Where to begin? I live in Canada, travel quite often to New Orleans. The place calls to me I swear it does. It's not at all unusual to find me wandering around the French Quarter like some lost soul. Which probably is dangerous-In fact I know it is-But I do it anyway. I write bad poetry and equally bad fictions when the muse decides to visit which lately hasn't been often. Nothing formally published.
I'll end with one of my favorite lines of Poetry " I am nobody. Who are you?" Emily Dickinson

Re: A wanderer
Hi there,Beaute Sauvage.I'm in a similar position to you regarding poetry etcetera (never been published).Tell me,do you ever show your work to trusted friends to get feedback,or join creative groups?I find it helps me.Though having said that, creative writing is so intensely personal and cathartic, showing my scribblings to others happens only occasionally.
That Emily Dickinson quotation has a very zen like,"koan" quality to it.Welcome.

Welcome! I enjoy writing too... although I usually need to blast some form of heavy metal to get the muse going. haha

Re: A wanderer
Greetings and Welcome.
I am also a writer like many others. I prefer writing sci-fi and horror short stories.
Occasionally, I do write poetry.

Re: A wanderer
Cool. More writers.
I have posted some of my stuff online, shown it to friends. I'm not confident enough to take the plunge and send anything to a publisher though. Too afraid it'll get rejected. Also I haven't written much of anything in a few years now. The muse packed up and left. I do love to read though. Anything I can get my hands on.
Thanks all for the kind welcomes
