Dreams Vs Reality

Because of the many accounts of other people having OBEs having never tried to have one or work with their dreams at all...they just happen...I would tend to think it was a section of the beginning stages of leaving the body. Because, where you have those that are working towards leaving and they are recounting how and what they did to reach that point, some of their stories sound very similar to what you describe.   Whether you were working to have another kind of experience from that does not preclude that from happening due do you working yourself into sleep exhaustion.  Just my view, which can be entirely out in left field many times.  Again, I will add that each body is so far and away different from another one that we can only venture a guess.  That is why one needs to do it over and over again to see all the different results that can be had with it.
But I tend to go with the possibility of pre obe.

travel out of the body will list plenty of these accounts.

I hear taking large doses of enthogenic plants can aid one in attempting to achieve an OBE.

Yes, it does … So i do understand your question on how do we know .. however one just have to trust the gut feeling, i guess ( nothing much more one can do ) … cause it always leads you somewhere you are suppose to end up , maybe we are suppose to learn how to trust our self and know that we can … There are a lot of things between heaven and earth and not all is discovered yet … We ( i know ) know we are here to learn love and grow ( evolve ), however that comes in many forms

I could have continued this discussion in my own head a written a long something … however I don't think that is necessary There is no clean answer to life … except from the one over … ( my thoughts anyway ), who knows maybe you will get your answer in the end and will prove one way or another ..
