First saw the Asetian Bible

After I came to this forum, I got to learn about Asetians and the Asetian Bible. Some of the members suggested me to read the Asetian bible, so I went to the Amason to look for it. Then I saw the cover of the bible. I feel so familiar, like I've seen it before, but i can't remember when and where. Then my heart was pumping to fast that it amost jump out of my mouth! The pumping was so loud that I can hear it! Now, whenever I recall the book cover in my mind, my heart would have the same reaction. Why did I have this kind of feeling? What does it mean?

The symbol that you saw is what the Asetians call the “Dark Mark”, it is the symbol drawn by the Goddess Aset Herself. This symbol is also tattooed on the wrist of the Asetians (although I am unsure if on all of the Asetians). There is no doubt that what you felt is normal, because that symbol is a magickal symbol infused with a lot of meaning and secrets. A lot of us who first saw the AB or simply the symbol, we feel very overwhelmed by not only the beauty of it, knowing that Aset Herself created that symbol, but also the “feel” of it...

This feeling seems strangely similar to one I felt a while ago when I was first learning about vampires. The idea of someone biting my hand and the blood running down it... man, it still does it. Just thinking about it brings the image vividly to my mind and my heart starts beating, like adrenaline, but without the adrenaline if that makes sense.

Oh I see, I wasing wondering if there's any problem with my heart, but I only have that feeling when I see or recall the Dark Mark, that's why I decided to ask about it! The Dark Mark is unbelievably powerful! I feel like the mark wants to tell me lot of things at a time, filling up my mind and making my heart beat fast. I don't know why, but I love the feeling. It's special, I just can't describe it with words!

The eternal and breathtaking power of the Asetian Dark Mark is something that never ceases to impress me and surprise me, in the most astonishing ways.
It is interesting how all of you share the same feel towards that sacred magickal sigil. It is very good to be sensitive enough to understand and interpret that... since I am sure many humans, mostly the non evolved ones, would not grasp the power and sacredness of what they are looking upon. As Black Tarragon correctly said, it is like The Mark can tell us things, unveiling secrets and hidden truths. Something that no words can describe.

And yet, the Asetian Sigil still carry a multitude of secrets that we cannot yet grasp or comprehend. Lets unite, share and live together this new Djehuty, and see where the Asetians can truly take us... we are living an exciting era of awakening and knowledge.

The Asetian Bible has done more than open my eyes and my soul. It has changed me in only ways that the AB could. As soon I as I saw it I felt as if it was meant to be a part of me. I didnt buy my first copy but was very glad when a friend bought it for me. My second copy I had to get because I had highligted and left markers in the original so that when I needed to I could go back and right to the spot I needed. The AB to me was never an obsession but a piece of me, something that only another who has been moved by it's power and words would understand.

I let some of my friends take a look at the Dark Mark and asked them how they feel while looking at it. They cannot feel anything! Actually I'm not an Asetian, then why can I feel it? Is that anything to do with my special ability - able to see spirit???

It usually takes someone metaphysically aware or at the very least sensitive to subtle energy to directly be able to feel some of the powers and echoes of the Asetian Dark Mark. That may explain why you felt it and your friends didn't...
I am sure many other humans would not feel its strong echo. Most people are far too mundane, materialistic and detached from the subtle realms to being able to sense those feelings, even when in the case of something as powerful as the Sigil of Aset.

I still haven't gotten the book yet, but through the site and previews I've seen the mark. Every time I see it I feel like I'm staring into someone's soul from the deepness of it, and it sends a shocking shiver through my body as if my energy has suddenly invigorated itself.

Without a doubt the Dark Mark is one of the most powerful sigils I have looked upon. It really does not take much metaphysical awareness to notice the essence and beauty behind it.
