Em Hotep: May the Ka be with your Ba
Finally a mature forum where like minded can meet and discuss things.
I am a musician and I study Asetianism.
I do look forward to the discussions here with my fellow Asetianists.

Welcome!
Nice to see new people around with the same mature interests. I am sure I will see you in the categories about Asetianism then.
What kind of music do you compose and play?

Asetian of course! LOL
I am semi retired after 30 years in the business, I can play most styles but these days I have been studying Middle Eastern music and working on my technique with a fretless guitar.
I am also composing a 'special' project which I won't go into just yet.

Thank you everybody.
It is my honor to be here among a mature thinking forum concerning vampirism, metaphysics, religion and most importantly ASET.
You have no idea how much the Asetians have changed and assisted my life and mind.

Greetings, A'nen Sedjet.
It's good to see you here. I hope you'll be of significant contribute to this community. Asetianism is indeed a powerful tradition. Simply knowing of its existence changes one's life immensely. At least I see it that way. Even if people don't notice it, they are influenced by it. It's subliminal.
Best regards, Karnath.

Sa Sekhem Sahu.
I have been spending the last few days skimming old topics to find interesting subjects for discussion or a topic (I was bored) I may have missed and I ran across this.
[i]Sa Sekhem Sahu
I searched online and found little to no information on this mantra...but I did find this...
http://moonpathcuups.org/rituals/lammas02.htm
For those of you who do not want to skim through the whole thing I will give a short passage of the text:
'Her Name is derived from the Egyptian word 'Sekhem', which means "power" or
"might". The word 'sekhem' is literally inseparable from Sekhmet and Her
worship.
The mantra Sa Sekhem Sahu can be chanted to balance and increase your inner
power. Sa Sekhem Sahu is pronounced Sa (Sah) Sekhem (Say-Kem) Sahu (Sah-Hoo);
Sa means the breath of life; Sekhem means power or might; Sahu is the realized
human.'
Anyone know where this mantra originated? Perhaps Helliana could shed some light on this.
Anyone with information on this please share...it is very hard to find Egyptian Mantra's online and finding another besides the Kheperu Mantra is quite unusual....atleast for me.
Also the person who wrote this text seems to be wiccan, it was the only info that I could find on it, perhaps I could get an Asetianist perspective on this.
