Quick Question
In performing any type of ritual, rite, or spell (sorry if these sound the same to anyone with more knowledge, still getting use to terms), should you, if you only have the digital copy of it, write it down on paper to perform it? At least the summoning, evoking and invoking parts, not necessarily the preparation stuff.

Re: Quick Question
I'm always thinking complicated... I tend to think it would lose its essence if its digital, but then again books are just printed ink anyways, and the words are coming from my voice, my will and belief, so it really doesn't matter where its written.

Re: Quick Question
I have this odd love of jotting things down too that can be troublesome, so that might be the cause of this question

Re: Quick Question
then memorize the ritual to start with and go through it several times using your memory. When you are comfortable with that process, then you can adapt it to your own style later on. As you continue to walk in this type of energy, you will feel better and more comfortable using it and will have your own results to use in your minds eye.

Re: Quick Question
to memorize the ritual will also help you increase your focus on the ritual instead of reading it.. Much better results that way.

Re: Quick Question
Writing it down helps your mind connect it with your subconscious. Whatever makes you comfortable, but writing, I feel, is the most sincere way to dedicate yourself to learning a ritual. I feel that digital=lazy and lazy=/=pathworker. But that's just an opinion.
