Better not to ask for personal information on a public forum like that nor to give it out, and especially not when they do not even state their intentions. Just to mention it is unsafe as should be commonly known and raises suspicions, besides does not give any background upon their intentions in any introduction or make themselves familiarized to the common audience or participators in the forum at all.

You might get less of a cold response by introducing yourself. Your questions and the information that you are requesting is prying. Why should people trust you with that information?

The not responding in a few days is suggestive of that, yes. More so the fact that they have not stated why they are looking for someone so specifically.

I'd expect them to have gone now anyhow. Since the questioning was definitely causing some unease. To some extent anyways.
