Poll on people's expectation on Kemet book.

Are you looking forward to the release of Kemet - The Year of Revelation?

This is the question that I am asking all of VF users in this poll. How are you feeling concerning this year's release of the Aset Ka's latest book?

Are you crazy about it, wanting to have it or not really interested?

I said of course, because I desire the presence of that book deeply, but I'm not going to become irrational like the bottom choice sounded.

Very interesting poll, Jonathan. I am glad someone brought up a question like this.

I chose the last option in the poll, because personally I do feel a deep need to have Kemet in my hands, and do see it as a true tool towards my own spiritual evolution within the divine path of Asetianism.

I voted like Daniel09, for the same reason, but fully understand Aghrab's desire to have it, and thus, her vote. Would anyone on VF vote any differently?

I voted "of course". If I didn't know it was going to be available for purchase, then I would have voted the last option

I too voted with the last option in the poll, and for similar reasons to Aghrab.

To have something else to work with is important to me.
Also, just to share in what little way I am able to, in what the Asetians have delighted in, gives me some comfort.
And although I am quite capable of waiting as long as I have to...I'd rather not - if given the choice

Way to go, Hellen... you got the sacred 7.

Of course I chose the last option. There is nothing I feel such a need for, at this point, as much as I need Kemet or other divine works of the Aset Ka.

It is truly beautiful that we have a place like VF where we can share our excitement together, waiting for this amazing work of art to be available for us... it is an honor to have a place like this.

I can't agree more, Victoria.

I chose the last option. After reading the AB, I really look forward to seeing what is next. ^^

By the way, can anyone make guesses of the exact date (or at least month) that it will be available? I get more excited every day.

My guess is in July sometime . . . they have an affinity with the number 7

That was the publishing date of the Asetian Bible. I don't expect the exact same symbolism for this work, since it is slightly different in feel and objectives. I believe we can still count with Asetian symbolism, of course, as with everything that the AK creates... but not the same as the AB I am sure. They want to draw a distinctive line between both projects.

I think we may find the release date to coincide with the heliacal rising of Sirius. It seems likely to me, and by that logic, I'm pretty sure the date this year would be around 8/02/09, maybe 8/01/09 so there will be a nice add-up with the 8 and 1 to equal the year. I guess we'll see.

I don't think they will aim for another 7.7 for the publishing of Kemet, like Jonathan said. That was special for the AK's internal publish date of the AB, it would take some meaning away from it.

I expected Beauty, and that is precisely what I held in my hands.

I wonder what this will have to offer, perhaps I shall get this book...

It will not seem as divine as it truly is, in the hands of someone who is not familiar with the Asetian Tradition. As the book says, if you are planing to purchase the book to simply scan through it as any other photo-book, then there are many other options. This book is designed, with Asetians and Asetianists in mind. It is nevertheless mesmerizingly beautiful.

I don't think a non-Asetianist will comprehend the beauty and value behind Kemet. Maybe they will sense the magick and energies behind the photos, but it takes a being with some understanding behind the Asetian path to truly feel the beauty.

I can agree with this. Although, the power behind the art of an Asetian still has the ability to shine in the eyes of any being, even the most energy-numb human...

This is what I hope. This is why I wanted to join this forum. I am not blessed like all of you but, I want to still learn and experience and see. This is why for me a limited vision of the whole is better than nothing.
