Contacting the Aset Ka in real life.

I was wondering, did anyone ever tried to contact the Aset Ka directly to its address in Portugal? The address comes listed in the technical page of the Asetian Bible. I was wondering what all sorts of people may have sent to that address... letters... gifts... only god knows what! But I am sure plenty of crazy stuff has been received on that mysterious Portuguese address.

Under the same subject, I also noticed how the Asetian Bible has recently made a year of being available to the public. (I know it was published internally in 2007, but most of the general public only had access to it in 2008.) That made me wonder... did any of you ever thought about sending a gift or any sort of present to Luis Marques through that same physical address? On the technical information in the Asetian Bible says that if we use his name as recipient, the Order will deliver it directly into his hands. I can see this being quite of a great (and even rare) opportunity to many Asetianists out there, or anyone that simply wants to show appreciation for his work in a more personal and direct way.

What do you all think?

Meaningful post, Victor. I have given passing thought to contacting the AK at this address, and at the email on the official site, but have not, as I would want the message to meaningful.
Perhaps we, the members of the Vampirism Forum, could band together and offer to be of service to the AK. For example, do we have enough knowledge to answer simple questions regarding Asetiainsm, vampirism and the AK/AB? Could we take some of the burden of answering basic questions for them and be an interface to the inquiring general public?
We talk. We debate. We study the AK and AB. Yet have we offered, as a group, to be of service to them? Our efforts accomplish nothing for them that I can see. What do you all think? Should the VF contact the AK and ask if there is some service we can willingly perform for them? Would our administrator even permit it if they agreed to let us assist them? Your thoughts?

This forum is already a service to them.

Ankhhape, in passive ways, I agree wholeheartedly. In other ways, I have more intitiative, seeking to actively be of service. Sort of being a participant in creating our destiny rather than ride along and let destiny create us. Looking back over a long past, most things I value (not material goods) were things I strived hard to master or attain.

They are the Eye of Horus, I am certain they are aware of this site and its members.

I could participate in this forum for a thousand years and never agree with you more. The simple truth of your statement says it all.

Whilst I agree that this site itself is a service to the Aset ka - of sorts - I dont believe they would jump at the chance of having us assist them in any informative way. That would mean them having to give us all the answers so we could effectively pass them on, and that somewhat defeats the whole object, doesnt it?

Let us not forget that whilst we discuss and debate subjects concerning Asetianism and the occult in general here, we are each of us on a personal journey too, and whilst it may seem like a good idea to pose questions or ideas (or indeed the offering of gifts) to the Aset Ka directly, we must not allow such a thing to detract from what is important. Self developement.

I am sure they have received many things from many people all over the world. But I like to think that actions speak louder than words or material gifts in the end anyway.

I agree that offering this site as service to the Aset Ka would not be accepted by them. If there would ever be such a thing, they would create their own forum, in their own official network. It is their policy, and it would be a great thing, but for now such an official place does not yet exist. Lets just cherish this community as it is, since we are already lucky by it being allowed to exist so openly without being shut down by the AK or ROS, as has happened in the past with other forums and websites.

Also, when I talked about if someone ever thought of offering something to the AK, or to Luis Marques, through their physical public address, I was talking in terms of showing appreciation, never in a way to try and get their sympathy or with the idea of being heard just because of that action. I said it merely as a form of recognition, or a simple way of saying "thanks"... never implied anything else or less honorable.

I believe so... however, this forum is very grown and bloomed, meaning it has a lot of members and threads, so I cannot imagine all of this amazing information just getting deleted.

Prince? A master of Asetian spirituality, sure... but prince? That's not how it works.

Public? Yes, maybe... but... did you have something important to write, and not just bother the author without any real reason behind it? I think more respect is due. Keep in mind the types of Beings you are dealing with, by the way. Respect is certainly a prerequisite, especially a respect for privacy... one could say.

Mystic is correct, you shouldn't write to them only out of curiosity or just because you can and want to be able to say you did, that is completely devoid of reason, and it is really disrespectful. If I ever write to the Aset Ka, it would only be to express my admiration and gratitude towards them and their work, but I would only do so when and if I found the most respectful way I could do that.

It sounds good and I like your opinions, but..since we are on this planet and we are a lot it's good to be different..my opinion is to be what you want, make want you want, you're ”BA” feed with what makes you happy..so write to Our Prince if that make ur ”BA” happy. Calling Mr. Marques a prince seems extremely accurate, after all, he is a Viperine. Not just any Viperine, but an Elder. This holds many historical implications. Although of course, I mention this only for the sake of accuracy.
People should only write if it will have a deeper and profound meaning. Abusing that channel of communication is enormously disrespectful. Of course, people are going to do what they will and fortunately those channels have not been closed despite the incredibly high volume of nonsense they most likely receive on a regular basis.
I must say that calling Mr. Marques "your" Prince seems a bit loud and quite uncultured though.

Had that in the back of my head as I wrote it but thought I was wrong about that. Maybe you're right, afterall, hehe... in an historical way or context, though, I believe, as you state.

Rhea Kaye has a point and I've seen several other Asetianists referring to Luis Marques as an Asetian prince, even though he does not present himself that way given his humble nature. There are of course historical implications to this as mentioned.

Although personally I prefer to call him Master.

That's a riskful way to think if not balanced with wisdom and proper discernment, just doing whatever you want. You should do what you want, but in a balanced and reasonable way. In this scenario it simply calls for respectful tact and knowing what is most appropriate or best to do.
