Does anyone have some suggestions on belly dance music ...
I'm looking for something that it erotic , aggressive, abit tribal, oriental, whit a touch of goth...

until now I have used some music from angels of venice , safri duo whit snake food , ayman and world tribe.

Pentaphobe..... They compose and play most of the music for the Indigo (Rachel Brice) have some really cool stuff, but mostly for tribal fusion.
A song that can also work nicely for tribal fusion is voodoo by Godsmack

For more classical bellydance look for Issam Househan, but is seems you are looking for something more tribal fusion.....

well... I have been dancing all my life in the style of" belly dance"(it has always been a way for me to meditate), but I didn't begin researching the actual dance until 8 mnd ago.... So luckily for me the steps and movements that I have been dancing for all thous years isn't all that different, from the basic bellydance moves i have seen true the last months

So in a way, I'm kind of a noob

Witch Style I do like .... Hmmm ... Its easier to tell you what i don't like I think....

Im not a huge fan of Indian belly dance, they are a little bit to flirty and "perky", I think they should take the spirit of the dance a little more seriously.... Its not only fun and games, At least not for me...

I'm working on a cross fade dance, that uses the basic techniques of kung fu, sword fighting and belly dance.... and that's what I'm trying to find some music for...

I've danced for almost 5 years now... Egyptian style, though I have also taken classes in american tribal style and in tribal fusion.....

when it comes to the girl, I honestly cant say what I think about it.... But one thing I can say is that to a so powerful song, she could have had more fire....
But its also understandable that she mite be a little nervous in front of so many people, but I see she gets more confidence at the end ...

I like Tribal Derivations by Beats Antique. There is also a Tribal album called "Evolution-Tribal Fusion" that is great for dancing and listening. They are more goth, but I have been listening and dancing to Switchblade Symphony. I like the feel of their songs, and they are very dark and smooth.

I also have a friend that has been composing his own drumming music. If you are interested, I can pass the word to him, and you can hear some of his songs. His beats are really unique and excellent.

This is a terrible old tread, and considering some people in here does dance professionally, and the fact that belly dancing is one of the most ancient forms of dansing there is. It certainly interesting considering its history.
