New guy with a question

I'm new to this forum, and would like to introduce myself.
I am Lamina, a human that seeks knowledge about all things, with a focus on energy and the universe. I believe stories like books and movies are brief windows into other worlds, because if it can be thought, it must exist somewhere.

I have a question that I need help with.
There are these things I can see, like lines or thread, that look like colorless distortions, like the way heat bends light. These threads are connected to everything, and they all go somewhere I can't see. They are easiest to see at night, but always visible if I concentrate. When I focus on them, I see that sometimes, they make 3 dimensional shapes, like objects that can't be touched. The question is: What are these things?

If anyone knows anything about this, whether magical, spiritual, mental, or whatever, I'd appreciate any information.

I would suspect you are seeing energy waves.....but I believe that Witchmark will be able to confirm or dispel that......she is excellent at seeing into the spirit world and even worked for some police depts telling them the answer to some of their cases that they could not find answer to. I saw her abilities when i visited with her for a few hours recently and enjoyed a very profound conversation in this area.

Welcome Lamina. My first guess would be that those lines and thread that you speak of is subtle energy. Energy can be seen with the mind's eye if you have the skill, which can happen naturally with some people. Have you tried to interact with it?

If you don't mind a question, why Vampirism Forum? I'm not saying you did wrong, we do have some great energy workers around here, but a vampire forum is not what most people would choose to look for an answer to their energy-related questions. That got me curious.

Most sites I've found are cookie-cutter guides, qi gong, or full of people that are there to role-play. The ones I found that actually had info on energy only covered things like shields or constructs, nothing about what I wanted to know. Another reason is that I know a lot of vampires take in energy, not blood, so why not ask them about such things?

Yes, I have tried interacting with them. One night, I had gotten one from the tree out back to attach to my hand. As I moved my hand a little while focusing on it, the small branch the thread was from seemed to move as I lightly pulled.Even after I had gone back inside, it still felt like I was attached to the tree. I tried touching the ones that seemed to be formed into objects, but nothing happened besides a feeling as if that area was a bubble with less density as the rest of the area, like it was cleaner or something.

Hi Lamina, and welcome to the forum. I would guess that what you are seeing is energy. A friend and I had a conversation about something similar that we both found out we could see. Sometimes, especially if it's a sunny day, we can both look up into the sky and around objects and see tiny bolts or threads of light. They resemble little worms to me. I thought at first it was my vision (I have issues with eyesight). But, my friend did some research and discovered that others can see this, and some call them "squibs." I didn't think anything of it until my friend pointed out that he saw them too.

I will attempt to explain via the way I understand it. Let us think about the idea that everything is made up of nothing but energy. If that were the case, would not that energy be connect to everything in order to give it form? I can relate to that which you are actually describing. From what I have found with interacting with that energy is that it is a web of sorts. I can form from it or I can feed from it. That question you asked here is what took me into the study of vampires many years ago.

There was actually a case study done on the Creery children by the Society of Psychical Research in which the children were known to play games with finding objects as well as reading what others were thinking. The Society also looked into what was call clairvoyance. In this, the opening up of ones ability was considered to be seeing energy waves form into objects as well as seeing a person's aura. You can do further research on this subject matter yourself as I have listed a resource for you here.

I would say you are truly seeing progress in your efforts. I am going to say that in doing rather than simply reading about different techniques you would certainly be one that could possible be the poster child.

I've seen what you describe, though not as clearly as you and not as widely. I see it when I put my palms together against a dark background: transparent threads of different thickness and volume that move and stretch as the palms move apart.

I would bet that, with your extra high sensitivity, you would see them especially clearly if you try the exercise.

It's definitely energy, and you could benefit from learning how to work with it.
