Astral ceremony

Has anyone here experienced gatherings in a sacred astral space? Once in my early teenage years I had a profound experience that I still to this day do not fully comprehend. I remember leaving my body going above our planet and traveling to a place in the middle east. When I arrived, I was standing in a circle with at least a dozen people. We didn't hold hands but had our arms at a downward forty five degree angle. The talking was minimal and most communication occurred through a steady transfer of energy. The environment reminded me of the love and comfort from being with loved ones.
