Just for the seriousness of this conversation, you may have put yourself under a placebo effect, believing that you would become a vampire or whatever your goal was and then having drunk the blood ceremonially, solidified those beliefs subconsciously. It's pretty much self-hypnosis.

Btw Steak is not "blood". There is a bit of plasma there, but all the blood gets drained when the cow is being processed. You might be able to get cow blood from a butcher though.

Why do people recommend animal blood? This makes very little sense to me. Given the reason vampires even feed on blood in the first place, and the cause for its high energy content. I guess I will never understand why people do this, buy dead blood with no energy. Gross.
