Hebrew language thingy
In the book of Orion, p. 77 Kabalah is spelt using what looks like the the letters He, Lamed, Beth, and Qoph. The only thing is, the latter 3 have some alterations from the letters found in the Hebrew index also found in the book. Lamed and Beth have little lines under them, and there's some extra dots, etc.
So, to get to the point, is this just some formal Hebrew type thing? (Like calligraphy or handwriting), because it is describing something sacred, or is it something more?

Re: Hebrew language thingy
Hebrew, very much like Arabic, is an abjad language. Meaning they consist of only consonants. The extra characters you have noticed are marking that denote vowels not included in the alphabet.
