Good Evening!
Hello everyone,
It's Primus.
(Sorry for the Roman alias, I know it's a bit long, but this is how they used their names. It doesn't really matter, anyway.)
As I already told You, I'm a chaos mage.
I love to experiment with magic, and being a "vampire" is my current project.
I think you can see from my posts that I am not a common type of vampire; not a familiar one.
But trust me, I know the other styles; I've studied many of them, before I chosed this way of life.
However, chaos magic is very liberal and never likes the rules (neither do I); so the lines between "real" and "not-real"; "truth" and "fantasy" are blurry.
I used bits and bits of the already existing "vampiristic" systems, then I used my own ingredients... and here I am.
Oh, one more thing: I already told you that I think vampirism is a sad and unnatural thing. That's my own opinion, sorry for that.
I say these things, because I've never wanted to become one, really. It was my own choice, of course, and I had my knowledge and experiences of / with the occult, but I've never wanted to steal life force from anyone.
... Let's just say I had to do this to survive. I stole life force to sustain my body (and my mind). This is how I saved myself. And it's tragic, for me.
Yet I accept this new self and try to think of myself as a predator.
And why am I here?
I'm here to talk. To discuss our condition. To learn, to evolve.
I said I've watched this forum for a while and I told the truth.
This is one of the most popular vampire forums nowadays - you are quite active, and I need this; who wants to register to a hollow forum, right?
So that's who I am and that's why I'm here.

Hey Primus.
Interesting life story!
I'm curious. What does being a chaos mage entail?

Hey shinigami_kris,
Well I quote Wikipedia (it's faster):
"Although there are a few techniques unique to chaos magick (such as some forms of sigil magic), chaos magic is often highly individualistic and borrows liberally from other belief systems, due to chaos magick having a central belief that belief is a tool. Some common sources of inspiration include such diverse areas as science fiction, scientific theories, traditional ceremonial magic, neoshamanism, Eastern philosophy, world religions, and individual experimentation. Despite tremendous individual variation, chaos magicians (sometimes called "chaotes") often work with chaotic and humorous paradigms, such as the worship of Hundun from Taoism and it is common for chaotes to believe in whatever god suits their current paradigm and discard it when necessary. Chaotes can be agnostic or atheist and regard magical practice as merely psychological, not paranormal. Some chaos magicians also use psychedelic drugs in practices such as chemognosticism."
Chaotes believe that "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted".
That's why someone like me can "create" a new method of vampirism, for example.

Re: Good Evening!
Hello And welcome.
Would you mind telling us about what you describe as stealing life forces in order to save yourself? You say that it's tragic... was there a specific event where you did this and it created consequences/ Sorry if this question is too personal, but your post intrigued me

Hi,
It's me who started to be "personal", so it's all right.
Well, it wasn't a specific event; it was a long and painful process.
I was a man who though all people are inherently good, and I can change the world into a better place...
I was wrong.
The world which I wanted to "save" turned out to be a cruel, inhuman place, where there are only predators.
It doesn't matter what has happened to me.
I don't remember when was the first occasion when I decided to steal life force. But I do remember what I felt - I wanted justice and revenge. Life for life.
My experiences in the occult made life force absobing possible; I was already a chaos mage, back then. Ironic - I was an idealist in magic, too, before turning to vampirism.
Ok, shortcut: after my first feedings I decided to keep at vampirism. I've created my own paradigm, a set of methods with a stable metaphysic background.
Now I'm already finished.
Here I am, a predator made by predators.
I know this whole thing sounds melodramatic. Maybe life is melodramatic, too.

Re: Good Evening!
Welcome, Primus. Your conceps are a little different about Asetian Vampirism. Best luck around here and the main rule:
Keep the mind in OPEN mode. We respect you and you respect us.

Hi Kalb,
And thank you!
As a chaos mage, I'm inherently against dogmatism.
So you don't have to worry about me - I'm as open-minded as it is possible on this planet.
Although, I'm a very curious person; I like debates, learning new things, asking a lot of questions, etc.
If activity is all right for you, then I'm happy.
