Iris rings
While re-reading the AB I have come across another question, particularly about irises. Is it a definite thing that all Asetians have a dark ring around this part of the eye, or is that dependent upon other factors, such as awakening and subtle energy levels?

Re: Iris rings
Since it's a physical trait I would say that's dependent on other factors including metaphysical ones. Asetians can't be defined by body or physical attributes as their uniqueness is in their mind and soul.

Re: Iris rings
Thanks, Jonathan. It was kind of a noob question, but I appreciate the answer.
I had been wondering if the ring might get more noticeable or perhaps appear outright after the awakening and/or metaphysical practices such as draining, so that view makes a little more sense to me.

Not noob, it was a valid question. I'm sure others wondered about that before. It's good that you're not afraid to ask as that's the way to learn without prejudice. Here we don't make that kind of judgement over honest seekers, despite what certain people may claim about this site and its users in other places.

This made me grin. What you say is true. Some people will say just about anything to be accepted in those circles.

I'm assuming you're talking about those two-faced individuals that visit Vampirism forum, or any other internet place discussing the Aset Ka, and then gush over how awesome this path is- only to turn around and bash it their resin-fanged friends in exchange for a good laugh and a ticket to a blood party? Of course they love Maxx over there. I have witnessed how many of them enjoy expending vast amounts of energy on directing anger/resentments toward the ones who shatter their little circus bubble.
