If you can help, I am trying to enter the tree of life (consciously). I keep meditating on Malkut and am having trouble entering the sphere. Does anyone know of a technique that works for them to contact Sandalphon and enter the Tree?

You're already in Malkuth. We live in Malkuth. It's the kingdom of matter. Realm of the incarnated. Hence the alchemical decay explained in the Book of Orion.

You're right, but from what I've read you must meet Sandalphon there and become initiated. How can one go about doing this?

I take the Sandalphon bit as dogmatic, although others may work with it. You do need an initiation to progress through the tree of life, several initiations actually to open the gateways in each Sephirah, but you don't have to work with any angelic forces like Sandalphon. Those are concepts used to aid in the process but I don't find them essential at all. Just like the Tree of Life is a reflection of the macrocosm and isn't truly ruled by angelic entities, although others will disagree with the statement. This becomes clear once one starts to do more advanced work in the Tree.

Nightshade, what other ways can you be initiated into malkuth without using Angelic forces? So far I haven't come across pathworkings that don't involve dogma.

You're right as it can be hard to approach pathworking without any sort of dogma attached to the technique, although that boils down to how you can personally interpret those mysteries and the understanding that certain concepts embody archetypes instead of angels.
