I thought this might be an interesting topic, given how some people seem to swear by the success they find with this. The ONLY possible explanation I can come up with is that they are either imagining they are removing every chakra, or that they are clearing blockages and mistaking them for energy centers. This kind of metaphysical blundering in someone's energy system strikes me as being purely in the realm of imagination.

Thoughts?

(Incidentally, I will be making a trip soon to my local hospital in order to remove my pesky liver. Damn thing was becoming cumbersome. Progress updates to follow.)

My opinion is that they're definitely in delusion. Deceived by manipulation and imagination. If they had their shen centers removed they would be dead as the biological body can't maintain life without its fundamental metaphysical mechanisms. That's only possible due to our shen also known chakras.

I say a complete ignorance of the metaphysical lies behind those claims.
