Re: New publication from the Aset Ka - "Violet Throne"
Hi
I have a question. I have just ordered the Asetian Bible, and I am waiting, as I believe it will arrive by October.
Reading the previews at Aset Ka site, I got amazed by the power of just the introduction I was able to read. So I really appreciated it.
My question is, while checking on "The Violet Throne" preview, I could see it contains the other books, as well as the Asetian Bible.
So it would be a complete one.
I was going to buy the other books, the single versions, but could I buy "The Violet Throne" , instead? Since it would include the three books and a new edition?

I am asking for your opinion about getting them separated ( the old version ) or the complete version (new edition). What would be better for me, someone just starting this journey?

I don't think anyone here knows what's best for you. There are advantages and disadvantages in the two options, for example if you buy individually, you will have the opportunity to have Kemet and enjoy the meditative energy of the book. The Liber silentis for me possesses an individual energy that does not possess in the Violet Throne. It seems to me that the cover of the energy of each individual book is worked with a different purpose, while the Violet Throne for me is a set of energies all complete in one volume. The proper Asetian Bible possesses a totally different energy, and is very useful for meditating too, if you want to feel peace, love, and relaxation, try to put the AB beside you and see the effects. All this is to your criteria.

Thank you Kalb.
I also meditate about it. I felt what you mentioned. Having them individually will bring me their specific energy, for specific moments.
I could fell the difference by reading the preview, as each book has its unique energy and teachings.
I will follow this intuition and also your suggestion.

Re: New publication from the Aset Ka - "Violet Throne"
It *will* initiate change. It *will* dig to the deepest parts of your being, uncovering thoughts, feelings, emotions that maybe you forgot or wanted to forget, or tried to ignore, if you let it.. and perhaps even if you don't.
You touched in a very interesting part - things that were forgotten, or intentionally kept locked. Violet Throne, as you said in your kind words of warning, not just a book, it is alive.
It is something that carries a unique energy.
When I ordered Asetian Bible, I was thinking about ordering the other books individually. But then, certain things happened, and I ended up with both Violet Throne, and a week later ,the Asetian Bible.
I have to agree with Naverya here, this should not be approached lightly, I am just beggining my Journey, but I have a feeling of respect for it, that goes beyond words, and I believe some here understand it.
So, I just wanted to share this more specific view about Violet Throne. I read the Asetian Bible, I am beginning Book of Orion, but I took a look at some other pages. The book is full of its own life, energy, magick.
Indeed something I respect and admire.

Re: New publication from the Aset Ka - "Violet Throne"
Em Hotep.
This is a good thread with good tips and warnings. There are some nice thoughts here, too, that get the contemplation flowing.
The only thing I must respectfully disagree with is the comment about how if only the Violet Throne were priced higher, it would keep the fluffs at bay and away from the sacred material therein. For example, without fueling an already over-discussed and often inflamed subject, there are certain charlatans within the Vampire Community who surely have access to more money than most due to their shallow commercialism. They would be able to easily afford a more expensive copy. And I am sure they would gladly (maybe secretly) shell out the extra money to get their hands on the material. Price is not really an effective barrier to keep those types of people at bay. And let us not forget all the loyal readers who benefit so much from this path, who do not exactly have the extra padding in their bank accounts.
These are just my thoughts. It is an exciting era with the sacred ancients rising once more, giving us the chance to learn and grow even if the process is not always pleasant, easy, or safe. For all who resonate with this great work, may your studies remain fruitful.

Re: New publication from the Aset Ka - "Violet Throne"
Hello,
It's been a long time since my last post in this forum, and I think it is time to write again.
I've bought all the books from Luis Marques, and I'm glad I did. I received my copy of the Violet Throne – Legacy of the Aset Ka, and it is an amazing book. It contains an extended (and entirely rewritten in most cases) version of the Asetian Bible, as well as the Book of Orion, and Words in Silence. It's even better than all the others (except Kemet, which is different), because with this one you've got all that matters in one book.
Concerning the version of the Asetian Bible contained in this impressive tome:
Some things are very different. Many more explanations are given, and some references to the Book of Orion and Liber Silentis have been inserted in this new version of the AB. There are more details in the Book of Nun and the chapter is quite longer. The description of the four elements is completely different, and curious details have been inserted in the descriptions of the Djehutys.
I think this is the missing link to many of the mysteries in Luis Marques' previous books. I will share some thoughts, later.
My advice? Buy this book.
Regards,
Pyr.

Hello Pyrene. Yes, The Violet Throne really is an amazing tome.
I feel privileged that we were given the gift of so much new and updated information. This will be an invaluable tool.
It is very interesting how the energy of the Violet Throne seems so different from all the others. Once everything is compiled it just radiates a distinctly special vibration. It is on a whole new level.

It has been a long time Pyrene! Hope that your journey has been productive and enlightening.
The Violet Throne is definitely my favorite of all Marques’ books. I find that the expanded versions of several chapters really provide a different layer and depth to the study of the Asetian tradition. I'll be looking forward to what views you have to share.
I think this is one of those rare grimoires that will be celebrated many years from now as an important reference in occult history.

Re: New publication from the Aset Ka - "Violet Throne"
I remember a thread with you two where the placement of the Asetian Bible and Book of Orion above/below the Abyss was discussed. It was a very enjoyable read and I think the forum could really benefit from more of that.
