Are all newbies told they are fake?

I was reading an introduction and without any real information or anything the person was attacked as being a "fake" vampire. And told that you are only a real vampire after reading a book. To me, that seems elitist and, excuse my language, Asshole. Just because someone didn't have the same journey as you doesn't mean it is any less valid. I thought this site would welcome others and guide them to help understand their condition and not write them off as fake and offer no support whatsoever. Now others will be less likely to say their identity for fear of being told they don't know their body and such as complete strangers sitting behind a screen. Very disheartening.

I know of no one that has ever become a Vampire by reading a book but I suppose miracles do happen.

But I do not believe you read that correctly.   You may have to read a book and then watch a movie to officially become a rated, card carrying member of the Vampire community.....But that is another site....not on this one.  It also helps becoming delusional and watching fake vampire movies and believing your middle name might be Buffy and go and watch the moon every night til you feel funny.   But, again, that does not apply here.  Maybe you have us mixed up with another group.   Sorry.

The reason people are attacked for their claims is usually because 1. their claims are flawed or 2. the people in the forum have matured passed such nonsense.

If a person is a vampire, they would approach the subject in a different manner than a human would (especially those delusionals that Maxx mentioned).

Humans are constantly seeking to aggrandize themselves. It's why so many believe they are "vampire" and if not that, they must be Lycan or some type of HUMANOID alien... or a hybrid.

People need to get real.

A Vampire does not announce the fact over the internet with a group no one has ever met with face to face.  Hell, you do not even tell your pet.  Cookie, the parrot might give you away.

How would someone know how to "talk like a vampire" if they have only ever been around humans? Speech is learned from those you are around, that's how we learn to speak. If you take someone from one area of the country and put them in another, they will get told they aren't speaking correctly. I was told that when I lived in Nevada. So whomever doesn't speak like how you think they should from the beginning could never possibly be a vampire? They MUST speak a certain way or be labeled as a wanna be? Again, Elitest Asshole.

Is that not the point of this group? To identify one's self and find those that are like you? The name of the site kinda gives it away, otherwise you are all human wannabes if you're on this site and not a vampire.

It says even humans are accepted but you have made it abundantly clear no one is accepted until you think they are a vampire. I have said nothing of what I am. I have been very guarded in that except I may have stated so on my profile. I never stated I have a condition, I was referring to the one who was attacked. For a group that is supposed to SUPPORT others, accept witches, otherkin and humans, you sure don't welcome others. So please tell me, when is it acceptable to say one is a vampire if they are? Or must everyone be deemed by you to be worthy?

how would I know? Over 10 times in this forum I have made it perfectly clear I am only a human, but that is a secret I am trying to keep hidden.

I have awaited your answer on the question I asked much earlier in your thread here. Do you know any real Vampire in person and have actually met them? It would be interesting to have them join as it would tend to put down my statement about Vampires never talking about their condition to ANYONE.
