On Elitism, Friendship and Truth
What is Truth?
On my journey I have found surprising things. I have this hunch that when many people begin their road in Asetianism, they expect fireworks. Big explosions, lots of excitement and drama. Animated mummies bursting forth from closets to croak powerful spells of ancient Heka at the seeker, huge adventures through lost and forbidden forests, slicing through thick vegetation with eager hatchets and blatant disregard while illuminating enchanted treasures to plunder with the pretentious light from a blinding torch.
The truth is starkly different.
The truth is a gaping, infinite chasm hiding underneath a thin carpet of deceptively welcoming, fragile emerald grass, swaying gently in a comforting breeze. The truth can be terrifying and it can be the most exquisitely beautiful friend. The truth is a non-anthropomorphic, undying ally who feeds you the most virulent, deadly poison as it lovingly suspends you within the fabric of the endless depths.
The truth wields a dagger formed of an ancient substance far more blinding than the brightest, loveliest light. Your inner strength determines your resilience, for that dagger is destined for your heart and the poison you ingested will be the elixir that resurrects you.
What is Friendship?
When the mind and heart are fully covered in heavy chains of iron, degraded beyond any realm of purity, friendship announces its presence as a distorted reflection of the individual's innermost desires, ideals, hopes, and fears. Friendship is misshapen creation from the dank bowels of the mind, a dishonest caricature of malformed proportions grafted clumsily and selfishly upon the superficial fabric of the counterpart's being. Friendship is not a gift, it is a curse. It is a cast of iron, a corrupted creation that alchemically degrades and stagnates - oblivion's dangerously subtle call on the withered wings of stale wind.
Elitism
The concept of friendship is greatly abused and misunderstood. Friendship is a gift that not many are able to understand. Friendship is a pure force, a strong hymn of the soul embraced in unbreakable unison. It is a force of pure magic and will, Understanding united with Wisdom. It is to truly and honestly See your friend, exactly as they are. And yet, to see anything honestly is to swallow an invisible poison that will wither your earth, crumble the ground and send you plummeting upward into an abyss, your foundations reversed. Without wings, it is a helpless tumble, careening past the safety of firm conditioning into dangerous territory where the only certainty is destruction, and resurrection is not guaranteed. The prerequisite of being a true friend is to be a courageous warrior, someone who willingly drank poison to destroy what is false, to purify Self and Become. Therefore, be wary when you count someone as a friend. You are drinking from their innermost Self. Are you drinking the enlightening power of love and unison, or the harmful continuance of falsehood in its various forms? Is it something that leads you to pure waters, or to the depths of oblivion?
Purity when viewed from the inverse position mirrored below is poison.

Re: On Elitism, Friendship and Truth
Wow. I loved reading this. Was an experience in and of itself, like a majestic journey. I will have to read this a few times to comprehend its message, as it seems contradictory at first glance, in regards to friendship mentioned differently under "What is Friendship" and "Elitism" respectively but it might just be due to that inverse position of observation that you are referring to.

Re: On Elitism, Friendship and Truth
I can't say it any better than what Mystic has said, exactly what they said (:
