Vampiric Shadow

I had read a certain post where there was mention of a vampire having a shadow body of some kind or another. Whilst I do not exactly know the overall validity of the exact page where I read this, judging by the quality of its followers all saying "me become vampire plz", "plz turn me to vampire", "how u become vampire" as well as by judging other factors, such as the name of the page which by its own merit or lack thereof might be a question up to debate, but still finding qualification and validity in this particular post itself. It talked about how the vampire has got a shadow body responsible for its feeding ability and empowered manipulation of energy. This, at least to me, might not be entirerly inaccurate; it does seem to ring true in one sense. But the shadow body was supposed to be composed of a certain substance, now in my own interpretation, as well as tendrils and so on, but might variegate between vampire to vampire in its overall and general characteristics and composition. Mind you I am telling this from only memory, and paraphrasing perhaps so as to present it outside of the original meaning of the words themselves adding unto it with my own meaning but nevertheless in such an assimilation and restructuring of thought finding a different pierce of accuracy from my own experiential understanding that might not be entirerly off base either...

I know this is a rather rare mention perhaps, or perhaps not, but still to me quite noteworthy. But does anyone here know about it? For instance, in more specific details of question, would such a shadow body if existent be more or less dependent upon certain activation, implying that it would sometimes lay dormant and be less active, only in the background of the consciousness of the vampire whilst other times becoming more expressed and manifest within the aura and consequent metaphysical feeling of said vampire, enabling their greater ability and power to feed on and manipulate energy?

Other somewhat related questions:
- Is it possible that vampiric nature awakens more at some occasions and lays more or less dormant at others?
- Could this shadow body if real, be an energetic manifestation of soul or inner, true nature?
- Does this apply perhaps to some, but not to all, where different natures of vampiric classification and kind might have uniquely different manifestations and expressions in one way or another?

No shadow body that I'm aware of. Just me, and whatever projection I utilize, which is still me, and my ethereal/spirit/metaphysical body (some say it's all synonymous, some don't *shrug*)

Good response. I do figure some answers would come out this way, considering the shadow body might not be a separate entity of its own, just theoretically if there would be such a thing. I'd not go into personal details too much but there is something I can relate to in the shadow body reference. It ties into what I have mentioned here before about somewhat lycanthropic or beastlike or predatory manifestations and instincts. It does not have to be physical. So it can be both physical and metaphysical.

Those manifestations and instincts may happen regardless of an attached shadow entity. I've heard plenty of people claim to be stalked or aided by some shadow creature. I've heard people claim to see shadow creatures and accuse someone of being these creatures.

I dunno, man. It's possible to have a third party entity do your bidding, but what isn't you, just isn't you (you being used generally here).

I suppose I can't comment too much on the beastial nature of vampires given that I also consider myself Therian/Otherkin which means I consider myself to be in some way, nonhuman (bestial) anyway, regardless of vampirism. I know I am definitely more shifty (experience nonhuman traits and what-not more strongly) when I'm Hungry so one kind of encourages/brings out the other..
