Hello brethren :]
Hey guys I'm 25 and have identified as a vampire since I was 19, but I have reason to believe I was born this way.
I currently live in NYC, and have been studying the occult and esoteric since I was 13. So a little over a decade of theoretical AND practical experience.
I haven't read the book yet, but I am considering buying it. I have mostly joined for community, and a little bit of curiosity is mixed in there.
It's nice to be here!

Ah, nice to hear. Welcome to the forum. You mention that you studied the occult and esoteric since you were 13 years of age. That is quite interesting, as I remember myself being all too unsophisticated as a 13 year old to dwell into those subjects - it was first in my 15-16 years of age where I started taking philosophical and intellectual interests in various things that shortly landed me up within studies of occultism and esoteric philosophy.

Re: Hello brethren :]
My grandmother gave me a book to read once, and I was absolutely hooked. The book was written in a way that I could understand at the time. I still struggle with Blavatsky tbh. Lol.
The book in question was written by Vera Stanley Alder.

Welcome, I'm sure you'll be welcomed here. Even if it is a bit daunting and some of us being more warm to questioning than others.

Welcome to the community. I hope that you enjoy your time around and find these interactions beneficial to your personal studies.
So you live in NYC. I currently live here as well. Not the most ideal of places when it comes to occultism sadly, especially while exploring the more advanced forms of vampire metaphysics and spirituality. People just can't seem to get over the fact that nonsense like Sebastiaan, Strigoi Vii and Sabretooth began here.

The benefits and disadvantages of a large, condense populous it seems. Lots of opinions and ideas.

Re: Hello brethren :]
Thank you, and yes the city does have it's ways. It's mostly a positive experience for me, though. I'm no stranger to this city, and I recently moved here again just before the new year.
I am having what I'm calling a "second" awakening. The first was where little gnosis was involved. Now I'm experienced and can actually make sense of what my body and spirit needs.
