Hard to say. Others can recount their experiences with a work but your own experience will vary. It's a good idea to peruse the reviews over it and see if previews are available.

I think you should go for it if you find it interesting. I have known about this book for some time but had to refresh my memory, re-reading about it, and what I re-discovered was that it might hold certain historical value. So, if you read it under such a lense, things might come together as pieces of the puzzle. Everything links together in a great chain of history, an interconnected web of things, and this seems to hold a prominent role in Western esotericism, which might be of a worthy note.

Popularity often rings a bell for the less likely to teach knowledge.

If you're looking for astrological information, associations... It has some workings etc.

Most of it is low magick, but it has some useful info if you know where to find it.

I have to wonder why you seem so persistently negative in so many of your interactions here.
It had been observed over a period of a couple of years so I'm not saying it on heresy or in a careless way.
You've called the forum useless in the past and insulted members. You seemed to be very unhappy here, as well as contemptuously dismissive of many long-time experienced members, you return and then your contributions, when they could be interesting and spark higher discussion, just sound like they come from a place of attempted superiority.
Maybe I'm wrong as I don't know you, but I've got to say the energy smells rather bad.
Fire back at me if you will, as I am used to such after a while of observing internet places, but somehow my intuition is unimpressed.

Taurus, considering the Picatrix you will just have to investigate for yourself and see. Getting other views can be an amazing tool, but in the end, the work has to take place on a higher subtle level and those results will prove the value of whatever work you're studying.

I will say I'm simultaneously interested and wary. I've heard good things, but then again, I also heard it contains some workings which require excrement and so on. I haven't read it so I can't make a deep scholarly judgment. But I find that to be rather low and repulsive, as well as lacking in elegance.
Still, if something has genuine historical value it can still be quite rewarding to study. The path to learning never ends.
