Dating Websites

I think dating can be a bit tough for vampires etc. and I don't think online dating makes it any easier. Being that dating websites have pretty much taken over regular traditional ways to approach dating... maybe I just need better picky lines

Prior to my refined sense of Self-realisation, I used dating sites on three occasions. I found a now ex-partner through them (and an artist or two, but I digress). Since learning, exploring and becoming better aware of myself, hypothetically if I ever was to be open again, I would not consider using a dating site. I have always preferred to cultivate relationships that are born from deep friendships.

That part is vital to a healthy and enduring relationship yet it's also frequently forgotten by people searching for love and deep bonding.

Untrue. The vampires on dating sites are mostly just broken and unaware of their nature, much like the majority of vampires in any other environment or context.

I will say, though, that dating sites these days seem to be better suited for unicorns than for any other type of mythical creature...

I used a dating site.
I was a little too detailed with my profile, talking about open-mindedness and left hand versus right hand paths.
I got hooked when a guy p.m'd me asking what Left Hand Path meant, and wanted to talk books and religion.

He was so much better when he was just text on a screen. Was my recent ex. Turned out he was super narrow minded, prejudice in many ways and verbally abusive. Yeah, I don't blame the medium (a dating site) but I've certainly learned my lesson.

My guy now, I can't sing his praises enough ^_^ but I'll stop here.
