I am happy to have access to this forum. It seems like a unique. diverse, and generally sincere, community. I am a seeker, and a relatively new one in terms of effort, though I do have some history of related experience in periods throughout my childhood and youth.

My journey in the past ten years has been a slow but steady progression, and I feel that finding this forum was yet another step along this path. I have ordered two of the books released by the Order and eagerly await their arrival. I expect that I will eventually ask questions and participate in discussion as I form more basis to do so. I have many questions now, of course, but I suspect many of these will be answered and expounded upon - as well as made irrelevant - through study.

I have not been active in any occult community... earlier on, due to circumstances alluded to above, preoccupation with the mundane (caring for family, work, etc.), and later simply due to prioritization: focusing on what feels right, is practically beneficial, and avoiding unnecessary drama (I have observed just enough to know nearly all social communities are rife with this, particularly those centered in metaphysics, the occult, and related).

Welcome to the forum. This is indeed a very diverse community with many layers of wisdom to explore, which can take decades to fully grasp. I would say it's all one great adventure. I hope you enjoy your stay and this journey.

Thank you, Jonathan! I have enjoyed reading many of the threads so far and will continue to trawl the board. Most of all, this forum has pointed me towards information about the Kemetic Order of Aset Ka, so that has been a great lead. Baby steps... has been the way, so far, and I assume will continue to be for quite a while. (:

If I am able to learn and collaborate with others along the way, all the better.

That is to say that, every three years for the past 13, beginning after the first, but really beginning after the 4th, I have become slightly closer to just beginning. :albino:
