Reforming My Foundations Empty Reforming My Foundations

Post by NyxWolf 02.07.24 21:05

I've been going through The Violet Throne and in particular the Asetian Bible as of late. It's taught me that it's time to go back to my basics. It's been many years since I started working with vital energy or prana or life essence. Many terms meaning all the same thing.

As I'm going through the module of study on Asetian practice, It's become ever clearer to me that I need to revisit the basics from time to time as I get on in age because even the most adept lose skill and ability without consistent practice and to be truthful I hadn't been practicing consistently for some years as I've been dealing with mundane life.

All of this to say that now that I'm going back to the basics and doing the most basic exercises from books like "The Psychic Witch" by Mat Auryn and others I'm really coming back into my own power and esteem when it comes to working with energy.

So this post was really me saying: "Never neglect your foundational education, even if you're as Master, everyone benefits from a review from time to time."

Peace Profound to everyone here!

The Violet Throne is an exceptional resource. If only one grimoire could survive in history, that should be it.

Keep in mind that Mat Auryn's books only deal with the very basics (but I see you're already aware of that) and sometimes not in an accurate way. He isn't generally considered a credible author and he is in it for the money and the spotlight, not the wisdom. He is not a true occultist and certainly not an initiate.

Your core message for seekers not neglecting their foundations and working on those strong roots is a good one though!

Good for you to no longer fall prey to the devil (unconsciousness) of mundane and comforts this world offers to track you away from discovering secrets, and dedicating yourself to the mysteries, instead of to the dramas deliberately created to push you away for exactly that reason to test your resolution and adherence.

Returning to basics is never a "backwards" movement, although falling is part and parcel of the path for one that seeks a complete, honest embrace for clear and true balanced development, it is at least giving respect to your roots and foundations. If notearnestly striving to master your capacities further and know yourself and discover your tendencies deeper. It can be a beautiful and pleasing experience to first-hand discover your limits under willing pushes with no harm under correct perspective. I mean this.

Jonathan has said it well but I want to echo his piece as well. Stronger the foundations, easier are the next steps. There is only way to clean the room and many other ways to not do it. Likewise only you yourself can know and tell if you cleaned it really well. And it can speak for itself both to you and to others. If you haven't, there will be thoughts. If you have, all thoughts will be dead and there will be simple knowing.

"The enlightened warrior has no confusions in their mind." ~M. Musashi

Fear, doubt, hesitation etc. are all good signs that preliminary work requires a fuller return. It would be very unrealistic to see an example who has never failed, and these are the limited standarts and ignorant mindsets that are trapping us in that we are trying to get out of, and get reigns of. That does not cope with the reality; the difference between an assumer and one who day in day out lives in concrete growth is like day and night.

It takes a good and serious amount of re-impressing deliberately and overwriting again and again, working on the nodes and neural pathways and energetic habitual patterns we unconsciously trained ourselves to have & live in over decades. So when you/if you meet with failure, do not lose hope, instead rejoice for seeing room of progress. It takes earnest amount of authentic emptiness/clarity/purity, authentic intention and authentic effort to marry them until one proves to the Grace of Olds one is earnest about their path above and beside themselves. Then the realer portions that are going to help you conquer those previous repeated obstacles from root points are going to open up in a graduating sense in wise steps.

But both are necessary for a healthy outcome, your trained and gained experience of spirit and attitude under different circumstances, and receiving soul's wisdom so the seed can gain completion in multiplicity. You do not just know the wheat in the field, you also know various things that can come out of it.

Because to let this process occur without self-interruption too, A lot of straightening has to occur on pride while we are living on this planet, and this becomes only more true for the advanced cunning forces running around to challenge and test you for various reasons as you go further. Who are supra-clever in the difference of their vision and disadvantage is generally unspeakable - which brings forth the necessity of a community to nest yourself in too. As times get crazier this is only going to become more irreplacable, valuable and true trust me. So better to have friends in good places, high and low both.

Not to mention traits we stick ourselves to, in self-worship blind us to ourselves more than we think. Immature big-shots & inexperienced but impatient saplings with big claims often get what they deserve very quickly in the mediocre stages. And you'd rather have this happen by serious hands of those who are on your side and next to you, than those of outside, because of the intention in difference.

And best of young ores generally intuitively sense some of these things so they focus on their rare virtuous integrity which is practically impossible to find around these days. Your desire to get things right, do it justice and do it right signals at this possibility.

Peace Profound back to you in your practices,
and satisfying succcesses.

I'm not entirely sure who is authentic these days. When I was first starting out I read from M. Belanger, but I've learned that she as well isn't very authentic and has copied work from others. What would you say is a good resource for basic/beginner energy work?
