Dark magic books?
Hey guys, these new age "love, love, peace, peace" magic books I have feels like a nail that gets pushed through my head...
Seriously...have you read any of these magic books with their eternal bladdering about "love and peace"?
This is Earth!
There are threats everywhere, the human factor makes love and peace impossible!
I want to read something that I actually enjoy...like the AB.
Any good Demonology/Vampirism/any other "Dark" magic book you could recommend?
I know I can handle it...

Re: Dark magic books?
About Vampirism there is not much reliable material that you can get on a public library or a book store, except as you mentioned, the Asetian Bible. However in other areas of the Dark Arts there are a few resources. One of them is Mr. Ford's books that were also mentioned in another thread in this forum. Maybe give it a try to the Book of the Witch Moon, by this author, if you are interested in a Luciferian approach to magick, dark rituals and astral travel.
I agree with you that the published works on the new age themes are scary with some much fluffiness. That was one of the reasons that drew me away from Wicca and the Pagan covens I was envolved with in the past. Too much "love, peace and light" dogma.

Thanks for the tip, I add it to the basket togheter with Kemet and Luciferan Witchcraft.
Gonna order it when I have money to it. X_X
I want to live a life of total balance between light and dark, but living in total light is not by far balance.
The Asetian Bible mentioned this pretty clear and its true according to my own logic...

Re: Dark magic books?
Definitely. The Asetian Bible makes a great point explaining that, and that is a very important part of their tradition, culture and way of thinking, which in my opinion expresses very clearly the level of their evolution when compared to most the of other religious paths.

Re: Dark magic books?
Hello Laiko Su Katara.
If you want dark material, I will give you pretty nasty stuff. Nowadays there is an occult author who is getting very, very famous: E. A. Koetting.
He has 2 books on dark magic: Works of Darkness and Baneful Magick. The last one is about killing by magic. You can get information on his books on www.ixaxaar.com . Also he sometimes participates on www.evocationforums.com.
The Temple of the Black Light is pretty nasty too. Liber Falixfer is now a myth within the esoteric community. Very hard to find and VERY expensive, it is a book on VERY dark stuff.
Get some information on:
www.templeoftheblacklight.net
You also have the infamous Order of Nine Angles. A lot of their materials is available for free on the internet (look for "NAOS" and "The Order of Nine Angles: various manuscripts"). VERY interesting and one of my main influences.
You also have a very oriented ONA temple in America. In fact it is a "vampire temple" (although I would say they are not within the "vampire community"). They are called Tempel ov Blood and have very dark stuff too. Try to look for some of their material on the net.
If you don´t find anything but still are interesting, try again www.ixaxaar.com , they have material available.
These are not "hippy darks" as Konstantinos, but the "real thing". This goes beyond "the occult" and will get you into the divine madness of reality. Be serious when approaching these three orders.

Re: Dark magic books?
I had forgotten about some of E.A Koetting materials as I had come across them in the past. Since your reminder, I have reserved a new copy of Baneful Magick when it comes out in the fall of this year.
Then my next read will be the Liber Falixfer. I see it is up for 140 euros.
Do you have either of these tomes?

Re: Dark magic books?
No, I don´t have neither Baneful Magick nor Liber Falxifer. Probably I will get a copy of the first, but I don´t know yet. By the way if you are interested in Koetting, there is another website that you guys should check out: http://eternalascentpublications.com/
The material presented there is the new work of E. A Koetting. If you want to know what is going on with him and his work, you should check it out.
By the way Maxx, did you find Liber Falxifer for 140 euros? How lucky !! I have found copies on ebay about 300 euros or even more.

Re: Dark magic books?
By the way there is another order that I like with very good material: The Temple of Them. It is very ONA oriented, so they are satanists. They have very interesting material on such important concepts like the Acausal, Chaos, Ego, Self etc. Nowadays they are working with Anton Long (the founder of The Order of Nine Angles and also the crazy and infamous Dave Myatt according to some people) and will publish a new version of NAOS (a book on black magic and sorcery published by the ONA a long time ago, you can get it from the internet if you are interested)
groups.yahoo.com/group/mvimaedivm
It may be a little difficult to join the group, they have also a "public" one, in case you are interested in what they are about http://groups.yahoo.com/group/templeofthem/
And, obviously, if you want to get their material visit : http://stores.lulu.com/otoanorha

Re: Dark magic books?
You sound as though you have been around the activity for a while? My main question to you and the most pointed one would be, how were you able to deal in the beginning of your walk with the biggest problem in all of these groups.....which is individual delusion?
Would this be why most of the beginning teachings deal with the ego? I know there is a fine line between focusing with belief for results......and outright delusion. I have seen an entire group come under the sway of delusion to the point it becomes laughable.......such as the Temple of the Vampire.
This turns into a cult issue at that point.

Hello Maxx. I don´t understand your question, what do you mean?
I have never been a member of any order/coven/group/temple, although I have had contact with some. I guess I am a lone wolf hehehe.
You asked why most of the beginning teachings deal with the ego. Well, not most of the beginning teaching but actually the majority of systems, as a whole, focus on the trascendence of the ego! Why? Well, because spirituality is about reaching the formless. Spirit is without form, whereas your ego is form and manifestation.
How to define the ego is something difficult in my opinion. We could say that your ego is "everything that your mind thinks you are" (Liber Null & Psychonaut). In this sense, the ego is limitation, whereas your Kia (you Self) is freedom. I would say that the ego is just that, limitation, the limitations of your mind, of your perceptions, of your beliefs, of morality...There are some traditions in which your physical body is part of the ego too, so it is, obviously, something to be trascended.
When approaching the ego and the Spirit forget all the moral crap that exist on this subject. Don´t be dogmatic and don´t think that matter/ego = evil and spirit/self = good (like the Temple of the Black Light does). Be free of belief and you will be truly free.
