A pleasure to meet all of you.
Em Hotep, everyone.
My name is Grim, I have always been deeply interested in the occult and vampires - but only recently began studying Aset Ka and the Asetian Bible. I am taking my time with it, learning all I can and working to understand the deeper and underlying concepts therein - and along the way, I was fortunate enough to have a friend refer me to this forum.
I'm 25, and live in the eastern United States in Pennsylvania. I have been studying and practicing all things related to the occult and superntural/paranormal since I was 12 or so - but my specific area of interest has been vampires. I have dealt with various vampiric organizations and vampiric belief systems, such as the Sanguinarium and their Houses(Kheperu, etc), and the Vampire Temple...but I found most of this to be unfulfilling at best, and laughable ego trips and money-scams at worst.
So here I am...I hope to learn a great deal here, and will do all I can to share what I do know. I look forward to getting to know all of you, and becoming part of this community.

Re: A pleasure to meet all of you.
Hello again Grim, and welcome.
If you have just begun learning about Asetianism and the Aset Ka, but are quite familiar with the occult and have been active on these subjects for so long, I'm quite sure that you will discover much more in this forum throughout your learning process.
Feel free to post around.

Re: A pleasure to meet all of you.
It is always great to have people experienced with the community and the occult in this forum, with a mature mindset and eager to evolve spiritually and learn new traditions. Knowledge... that's why we are all here.
I understand what you said about some of those organizations that relate with the occult. My experience guides me in a similar understanding and conclusion.
As I said on your first post, be welcome. Hope to see you around in other threads.

Re: A pleasure to meet all of you.
Welcome, Grim.
It's good to see someone with some experience starting a new path. I read your reply at my topic on Role-playing, and were rather satisfied with it. I know some persons who used to do a lot of RP, and still are mature and coherent.
About the other organizations, I understand what you mean, although it isn't correct to simply bash them. Personally, I came across with some of them in my path, and never felt I could identify myself with them, and found them most "unfulfilling" as you said. Fortunately I already had considerably good studies on Asetianism at the time, and so I noticed the "emptiness" of their beliefs and traditions, and all their role-playing ritual truths.
But sometimes you get lucky.
Best regards,
Karnath.
