Other Vampires
Through out the AB there exist many energy techniques discussed, as in page 215 " . . . oclumancy is also not very subtle, being easily identified by an aware vampire", along with reference to how the techniques affect or interact with another vampire.
What 'other' vampires could the book be talking about? Sethian? Other Asetians?

Re: Other Vampires
If you read earlier in the Oclumancy section, it states it is "a renowned ability from the vampiric bloodlines." To me, the text you quoted is speaking in terms of the vampire in general (condition of the Soul, in Asetian terms). Mainly the Asetian bloodlines, but I'm sure it could include Sethians as well.
Now, in general, the AB states, "anyone adept at metaphysics can learn techniques of oclumancy and develop this ability," so it could include humans as well. But I don't think you were confused there, but just to be safe I thought I'd include it.
Hope all is well, Ankhhape.

Re: Other Vampires
Good point JWG, and you are right, thank you.
Though that was only 'one' example off the top of my head, there are others that refer to other vampires, but of course given my inability to absorb what I read I could easily have missed the correct subject matter!
That's why I have you JWG! LOL
Thank you & all is well, talk to you soon

Re: Other Vampires
Ahh, non sense. I have learned much from you, friend. Glad to have cleared the air on your question, though. I'd love to see other quotes in which you believe there is reference to others if you'd wish to. Either way, take care. Always a pleasure to discuss with you.

Re: Other Vampires
As requested here is another example.
In 'Vampiric Manipulation: pg 215:
So, my question again is, what vampires other than Asetian & Sethian would this be referring to? Surely, Asetians for the most part do not have a need to attack one another.
I suppose this is all in reference to doing battle with ROS vampires since there are no other real vampires besides Asetian or Sethian?
Perhaps I am confused as usual?
In 'Vampiric Manipulation: pg 215:
The following segment is on Psychic Attacks etc.. . . "oclumancy is not very subtle, being easily identified by an aware vampire . . . when applying these techniques with a vampire in target, that will easily get suspicious and probably detect the inbound signal and assume it as a psychic attack"

Re: Other Vampires
This goes with a question I asked on another topic, "Are there other Vampires out there besides Asetians?" I was answered yes there are. So where and what did they come from and how does one go about ridding ones self of them if they are unwanted?
