Question of Identity.
I have been reading a lot of of the forum posts on here and one question remains unanswered for me.
I have seen plenty of people who ask the question “How can one tell if they are a vampire?” and more specifically “How does one know if they are an Asetian?”. The general answer I gathered was no one really knows. It's a search of the mind and soul.
That still leaves me in question. Not as to where or not I am either one of those but to how do we know it exists if we are not sure and a subject of a certian faith in one's self?
Who has the last say to whether or not someone is an Asetian/vampire? The Elders? Then again, who had the final say they where Asetian Vampires?
Also, I am a natural skeptic of everything. So, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any reliable research done on Vampirism.
It feels true and appeals to my logic, hence, making it believable for me. Yet, it seems to lack a certainty that science can provide. At least for now..
Thank you for knowledge that might be share,
Sekhmet.

Please pardon my grammar in the main post. I read it again and found a few mistakes.

Re: Question of Identity.
I believe the final say on who is who or who is what, in what comes to Asetianism, is on Aset herself, the founder of the Order of Aset Ka. Besides, they do have internal ways of verifying that, and it is not based on mere intuition or wishful thinking. The Asetians have developed along the years many complex techniques, including past-life validation that goes far beyond some obscure desire, but that relies on triangulation of information in ways to verify things beyond possible doubt. You would be interested in knowing that the Aset Ka actually has many scientists in their ranks, and that Luis Marques himself is a scientist with research work done on the mundane and traditional side of science. They just don't publicize this, they are very private... but they do have a very scientific approach to many occult fields, and the Aset Ka itself has research labs. This is no science fiction, but reality. An example and reference to most occult orders and covens out there...

Re: Question of Identity.
Thank you Victor for that information. I figured there is some algorithm to it all but I am curious to what it is. Or at least where to find it.
Also, this is another question for anyone who can answer or provide valuable feedback. I recall, that Asetians are spread through out and have been reincarnated into many different kinds of lifes. Do the Asetian people find their way back to the Aset Ka out of instinct in the present life they are in? (given they are aware of their status as an Asetian)

Re: Question of Identity.
I believe so. Actually, the Asetian Bible is one of those tools, works like a beacon to help lost Asetians finding their nature and their way back to their family at the Aset Ka. They are a metaphysical family with a great immortal bond. It may take long for a lost Asetian to find his True Self and let go of all the conditionings of society and culture, but he/she will eventually find their way to the Aset Ka and live as an Asetian, honoring their culture and tradition. Their bonds cannot be broken...

Re: Question of Identity.
Interesting.
What do you mean exactly by "conditioning of society and culture"?
Would the Asetian travel to Egypt to find their roots? Kind of like the Muslims make the trip to Mecca for religious enlightenment, maybe it more of a plane of existence they travel too or ect..?

Re: Question of Identity.
I think Egypt, as their sacred land and place of genesis, is long gone and destroyed by ignorant mankind. Their empire now is a silent and spiritual one, they have astral gatherings and all sorts of scared places in locations that we cannot imagine. Certainly one of them would be their main temple in Portugal. It is also well known that they travel together to Egypt very frequently, to visit the magickal locations of their ancestors and that even themselves roamed in previous lives. They even have a book published with photos from one of those gatherings... but I believe that much of the power and energy of Egypt is now gone. What would you say?

You should read the Asetian Bible. When I 1st joined this forum, everyone would say that, and I was like okay, I'll get to it eventually what is the big deal...well, the big deal is that you'll find that it covers a lot of the questions you might have. I've found that the paraphrasing (& actual quotes) found out there of the book simply don't do it justice--probably because we all have different questions & interests.
Why I am saying this is cause I think you would like what Luis Marques has to say as far as science is concerned. Apparently most Asetians are "scientists."
I'm seriously skeptical of a lot of things as well, I don't even believe in most of this stuff...but unfortunately it seeks me out and proves itself to me over and over.

This right here. I really should have read through, Victor obviously explained it better than I.

Have read this http://www.asetka.org/vampirism.shtml from the Aset Ka website?

Well, In my opinion, I think this certainty comes with time, experience, and exposure. Science has a level of uncertainty inherited due to the Heisenberg Uncertainty principle after all one of the most widely excepted concept is the notion of an electron but, yet there are no actual physical direct picture one can point to and say that is an electron. It is sort of the same thing here.

Hmm.
What book might that be?
As for the energy and power being gone out of Egypt. I would assume that the power and energy only resides through memory of the Ancient empire. Maybe being in the same land that once held such forces might trigger some past life memories?

Yes, and what we know is that we don't know. Science to me is the closest thing to a way to prove things that once may have seen unprovable. Even though, it's through theories and just appeals to logic, therefor, being more "Logical" and more believable because an outcome can be produced more than a few times with the same algorithm.

The book is titled "Kemet - The Year of Revelation" and it was published by the Aset Ka last year. You can see a few photographs and also read the foreword in the official website, in here: http://www.asetka.org/Kemet.shtml
You can find it in many online bookstores. If you are interested in Asetianism and Ancient Egypt, you will love it. It is a great piece of artwork, and done by Asetians in real places of the old empire, in Egypt itself. It even includes some rare photographs in forbidden places, not allowed to be photographed.
As far as triggering past life memories I have to agree with you. Visiting such places, and especially meditating, can certainly have the power to trigger events from past lives in the old empire.

The same came be said about the Occult science. If one looks at say the basic occult system like Hermetics, one "sees", after some experimentation, some under lining nature within the system that parallels or moreover over lays with basic Newtonian principles. Like the principle of Cause and Effect and Newtons second and third laws of motion or the principle of vibration and some of the axioms ( in sense anyway ) of fields.

Ah, this reminds me of all those discussions on observability and context of an experiment and rather or not the observer can influence the contents and ultimately the outcome of an experiment. Von Neumann placed the mind of the observer as part of the experiment those putting a sense of subjectivity in what one would think is totally objective. Like the double-slit experiment, one observer "sees" a wave and another a particle. The frame of reference becomes all to important.......the same with occultism................You know the Alain Aspect experiment has Occult overtones about it ( but that is my opinion).
Now what are Theorems and Axioms and the essence of Logical reasoning both deductive and inductive anyway?
