My name is Ebony. I'm 20 years old, and I'm currently attending college. I have two future goals: one, to get my Ph.D. in authorship. Two, to finally reach a point of irredeemable awakening.
I've always been fascinated with vampires. In my earlier years, my fascination was superficially inclined: why, the dark adorned creatures of the night (think Bela Lugosi, you who are old enough,) who transformed to bats and wolves and green mist were compelling to the eyes of a 14-year-old. But the reason I'm here is an entirely different sort of fascination.
I read the Aset Ka a year ago. A classmate in my introduction to Philology course introduced me to something to more than just mere philology: he introduced me to the truths about the dark creatures Hollywood has misrepresented for so long. Bats? Drinking blood from fair maidens? The tip of that iceberg must melt down to its true sharpness.
Nevermind the fools and misnomers who believe in the sparkling, the disease riding and those who are just beasts like lions for the blood of the mortality of you and me (maybe one day). I have dun research about Egypt now inside and outside of many courses and I am developing every day. There will come a time that I can really understand what it "IS" to "BE." But that time is eons, maybe minutes, who can predict?

But enough with the verbose: Who am I? I'm Ebony, and I'm afraid my life and person would bore you. Once you've seen one young college student, you've seen them all. It is what I wish to become that is more important than who I am: a person truly enlightened, in peace with myself and my knowledge my nature, no matter what grows on the sides of the path. I'm hoping I will find support for this here, on those boreds.
