What do you Think Luis Marques ...
What do you think Luis Marques meant when he wrote ( and I quote ) : This is the new era of this world, The second Age of Vampires, the reawakening of the ancient Serpent from Its long sleep through the ages ?

I believe the first part of the sentence is pretty straightforward, meaning that we are entering a new era in terms of spirituality and this is the second age of Vampire rulership over the spiritual realm. This makes sense given that we're ending an era of Sethian rulership, marked by the controlling power of monotheistic religions like Christianity, Judaism and Islam that are now falling and losing power. Being the first age of Vampires the time during the Sep Tepy, when through the Asetian Empire the Asetians had rulership and influence over the spiritual realm and were responsible for the balance of nature and planet Earth.
Now the second part of the sentence could be more prone to interpretation and I believe that is the part that you're seeking for insight. The reawakening of the ancient Serpent from its long sleep through the ages. I believe this Serpent could have a double meaning, representing 2 things. One could be that the Serpent represents the Aset Ka, particularly the leading and very dangerous Viperine lineage, through the reawakening of the lost and "sleeping" Asetians. Another could be that the Serpent represents Horus, the Primordial Viperine, and his possible return (through reincarnation) in this new era to lead the Aset Ka once more into (spiritual) glory.

The Serpent has been connected with knowledge, wisdom and awakening throughout history. Especially hidden wisdom and initiation.

What else ?

Also danger, venom and evil. But that was mostly due to religious influence.Divine 277 wrote:Jonathan wrote:The Serpent has been connected with knowledge, wisdom and awakening throughout history. Especially hidden wisdom and initiation.
What else ?
The shedding of the skin was also connected with reincarnation and rebirth. Some sort of a mix between the Devil and Tower cards of the traditional Tarot.

Yes you are right....
But there is more, due to egyptian religion, Greek myth and other myths.
That basically didn't collide whit Constantine s "crusade ".
Like in egyptian myth, the snake/serpent was associated it with Wadjet, one of their oldest deities as well as another aspect, Hathor.(in some causes)
Or in The most well known version of this is the Aegypto-Greek Ourobouros. It is believed to have been inspired by the Milky Way ( astrology , map ) as some ancient texts refer to a serpent of light residing in the heavens.
The serpent can also be associated whit dragons, as in Norse myth, the serpent dragon Yggdrasil.
Serpents in some Myths also symbolize protection.
But due to the mater at hand, we should rely concentrate on egyptian, Greek and Sumerian text, since they had All grate respect for knowledge, and collected writings from all over, in their time.

I was going to share my own view on the writing under debate by Master Marques, but I believe Jonathan did quite a nice job explaining it. I agree with his view.Jonathan wrote:I believe the first part of the sentence is pretty straightforward, meaning that we are entering a new era in terms of spirituality and this is the second age of Vampire rulership over the spiritual realm.
