Greetings all, call me Squid.
Hello, my name is Squid and my pagan name is Symphonika, hence the username.
I'm here, like I'm sure many others are, to learn what I am and hopefully someday I'll be able to help others learn what they are. I am 17, straight, male and currently living in South Africa. Previously I thought myself to be a Kheprian councilor, but I've abandoned that title because I no longer believe it to be accurate, nor do I remember ever being called that. At the moment I have no idea what I am. I'm hoping some of you here will be able to help me find my title and ultimately, my purpose. Here is what I remember/know/believe about myself...
I am ancient. Although right now I possess a young human body, I can remember bits and pieces amounting to millennia of feeding off the prana of other entities, and this mortal shell does not fit me well. I do not know why I can do what I do, but I do know that I was created for this sole purpose to feed. I understand as a creature of darkness that the Christian god was far from the beginning, or at least I know that before this entity uttered its famed "Let there be light." Something else created darkness. I suppose I don't really know if there ever was a god, but if there was he has now abandoned us. I do not know if there is a heaven or a hell, but I do know that entities like myself don't go there. Also, vampires like myself aren't meant to hunt in packs. Unfortunately there is just far too much that a human mind lacks the capacity to remember and perceive, thus I seek to form a better relationship with the spiritual world and learn how I can better indulge my hunger without upsetting the balance of the universe. I have forgotten what it is to feel my own emotions and now doubt if I ever felt them to begin with. This is what drives me to feed. The prana of others still bares the remnants of its previous owners' emotions to an extent.
So yeah, that's my story. I look forward to becoming acquainted with you all. If you find this interesting and would like to discuss or debate on anything I've just said, or just want the reassurance of someone who can tell you that you're not alone, please send me a message on Skype. My username is (you guessed it) squidofsymphony.

Hello, and welcome to the vampirismforum dating website!
I'm kidding, of course. I know many other sites have you tell your whole story when you join, and while it's nice that you're so open, it's not a necessity. Welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay, and try to keep civil and curious and all that jazz.

Thank you for the welcomes. I know it's not necessary, but I like to be sure that things are in context wherever I can.

Re: Greetings all, call me Squid.
Welcome Squid. Just my 2 cents of advice, don't focus on finding your "title" as you said. If you forget about titles you will find the information in this forum much more valuable. You can't truly understand Vampirism if you focus on titles. That's the mistake "vampire houses" out there do.
