Those studying K. Grant Material and OTO
Here is an interesting account or article mentioning the writings of Kenneth Grant of the OTO and some of his descriptions of groups going back to the Sumerian writings.
I found mention of some strange connections but the possiblity exists and may very well be there that some truth lies hidden in the shadows.

Re: Those studying K. Grant Material and OTO
Can I ask you of your intensions when you posted this one ?
Re: Those studying K. Grant Material and OTO
certainly.....I know one here is studying with the OTO....and I know that Kenneth Grant was at one time head of the OTO....he became a figure that many do think highly of...and others think his writings were of a fraudulent nature....my opinion is that instead of taking what others say about anything or anyone being fact, one should investigate anything and make up their own mind. Do not take what one says to be fact...that is second hand info..just as in the case of religion....but do your own study and then follow your heart......
his works or out of print but I have found a site where one can download or read his works in pdf form....and then come to your own conclusion........
Anything I post is for one to question in every way.

Re: Those studying K. Grant Material and OTO
Why do you see the connection to Set as interesting .. are we talking symbology or the main bloodline view ?
Re: Those studying K. Grant Material and OTO
that is why I posted it.....for people to do their own study......not to take anyone's word for it......there are other sources that speak. When one takes the time to research, there are many things that one discovers that will either solidify or debuke. The fact that I looked into various things over my life, taught me things that I would not have found otherwise.....

Oh.. Im sorry I was trying to get an discussion going ... and its not seeming to work ...
I was mostly asking you about you view about the topic, and if you had ideas and thoughts around it that you would want to share.
And I agree one should look in to things before one makes up their mind .

that is why I did not say one way or another.....I do not want to influence anyone with what I think....I posted it to bring questions to one's mind....so everyone that has interest will look up and do research.... if you have any interest in reading Kenneth Grant here is a site for free....download and pdf and I post this as they are asking too much to buy actual copies of his books.

Re: Those studying K. Grant Material and OTO
I have read one of Grant's books, "Nightside of Eden". When I first read it, I was really struck by how he seemed to write in a manner that left the reader to make their own decisions about the main topic, Qliphoth. It was a hard read at the time, but in the last few years I have begun re-reading pieces of the book and have a better understanding...at least I think lol.
