Vampire Prejudice
So I live in a tiny town in Canada called Wilno. It is Canada's first polish settlement. My town is a difficult place to live in and I will tell you why. If you were to google Wilno, Ontario, you would come across piles and piles of stuff about "The Vampires of Wilno." The town I grew up in is full of weak minded people with fear in their hearts.
You see, a few hundred years ago there was a big scare in Wilno. It was basically the vampire version of the Salem Witch Trials. If you were believed to be a vampire your head would be cut off and a stake threw your heart. There's actually an old cemetery up the hill from my house where hundreds of these bodies are. If you are interested in googling it it's called the St. Stanislaus Cemetary in Wilno, Ontario.
Anyways, fast-forward a few hundred years. The panic is still in the hearts of everyone in Wilno, except for me of course. I will tell you I am like the devil in this town to these people. I keep to myself and mind my own business but they look at me with such prejudice. It really makes me sick how I cannot go to the local market without meeting the gazes of people who look at me in disgust.
Am I going to sneak into your house late at night and eat your babies? No.
Am I going to burn when you put a cross in my face? No
I am not Dracula. I am different. It just makes me sick that I have to deal with this day after day. I am strongly considering moving.
On a side note, check out Wilno if your interested in the vampire lore but beware of the psychotic townsfolk.

Re: Vampire Prejudice
I would be more interested in the cemetery and meeting some of those spirits to see if any are bound there....smile. Creating a vortex to enable them to move into the next area is fun to do.

Re: Vampire Prejudice
People are going to judge, no matter where you go. Be your Self, follow your Heart, and use your True Will. That's all that matters on your path. The masses fear what they don't understand. Simple as that. And yes, you have the negative energy still from the vampire trials and witch-hunt massacres but only time can heal those wounds.

Re: Vampire Prejudice
Is the cemetery you mention above also called the settlers cemetery that might be about a mile south-west of the St Mary church and cemetary?
