Sounds like a roleplaying game, nothing more. I don't feel your words to ring with the essence of vampirism either. Better act upon something more serious, like dropping out of fantasies and actualizing your potential within reality instead of roleplay and delusion. This forum never was, is, nor will be for that purpose as it deals with more mature subjects of actual magick which is quite a culture in opposition to fantasy and roleplay; it deals with spirituality, forces, energy, mind, and does not bow to mere pretensions of playing games and dressing up to parties.

I'm reminded that the vampire community attracts primarily or essentially two forces, one that is serious about its nature and seeks to study, learn and understand, and another one which merely attaches itself blindly unto the label of vampire without any deeper understanding of metaphysics but goes on in a manner of roleplay, making false pretense and indulging delusion. Indeed they might look like they are of the same coin to an outside viewer who merely witnesses appearance and label rather than depth of truth and reality, but in actuality they are worlds apart and have nothing to do with each other and have nothing in common. Well, I guess it's up to me as a Watcher to present a somewhat more balanced view in the middle of this  flame war or whatever else you want to call it lol.

Anyway, here's my take on a few things Vincent says and the reactions to it:

1.) Why does there always have to be such a hostility especially between those who follow Aset Ka and those who follow Ordo Strigoii Vii? I don't want to go into who may have copied from whose material, but it is easily recognisable that at least the outer traditions and many of the rituals are similar....

2.) I would agree that Father Sebastiaan has done a lot to bring occult vampire teachings out into the open and make them palatable to a mainstream audience. I especially appreciate the fact that he gives real and usable descriptions of the rituals, especially in his book "Vampyre Magick" as opposed to the very brief presentation of shielding, grounding etc in the Asetian Bible (that gives much more background information than Sebastiaan, but is largely unusable as a ritual magick manual).

3.) What I do oppose is the commercialisation of vampirism that Father Sebastiaan has brought into the whole community. I realise everyone needs to make a living in the mundane world, but promoting his fangsmithing as a genuine occult experience that is even necessary to awaken to one's vampiric nature is in my opinion simply a PR trick to attract new clients. If a vampire really "needs" fangs, then they will grow naturally over time. There is no need for a "family dentist". But again, I realise that Father Sebastiaan needs to make money to live too, so if certain people enjoy running around with a set of artifical fangs, then so be it.

4.) Noone has brought the "Legacy" as you call it. Vampirism and similar supernatural and occult phenomenon have been around for millenia. You could perhaps say that Father Sebastiaan was one of the first to bring parts of the "Legacy" out into the open in the 20th century and for that I respect him.

5.) @Maxx etc.: While I understand your reservations to some aspects of Strigoi Vii, I wouldn't dismiss all who follow Sebastiaan as "circus clowns" (you're really fond of that expression, aren't you? Maybe you still have a big circus career ahead of you lol). Live and let live. I do sometime see an unhealthy tendency here on this forum to bash at everything and everyone that isn't totally an Asetianist.

Vincent, you would be surprised to discover that it’s your Adra Sebastiaan - more fantasy terminology with no standing in the real world - who has copied from the Aset Ka and more prestigious authors such as Luis Marques and several different occultists. Now that is reality. This isn’t speculation but factual and it’s not worth going over it again but it’s more than proven that Sebastiaan has drawn inspiration from Asetian culture time and time again. This wouldn't be such a problem if you people wouldn't make your life's quest to attack the Asetian Order while trying to come forward as original when so many others were here before you and Todd. So this whole Legacy that you’re screaming about is in fact Asetian culture. Unknowingly you follow and celebrate Asetianism, but you’re not alone as many others do so without being aware of it.

I do realize that speaking facts and reason to someone that has been brainwashed probably accomplishes nothing but it's worth the try.

Lightseeker, I understand that you’re trying to be reasonable here but I can no longer take what you’re saying seriously when this is your reaction to someone expressing some clear mental problems. On a more serious note he probably needs professional help from a psychiatrist not a pat in the back. This also sheds some suspicion on your claims as being connected to the Watchers Group, since as others have mentioned before that group was one of those documenting Father Sebastiaan’s plagiarism of Asetian works and literature in the past, as well as establishing Ordo Strigoi Vii as a facade and not a real occult organization. If you’re in line with their archives you should be more than aware of this and not playing White Lighter speaking for something that is merely a tool of commerce and has no real use for the fledgeling occultists out there. So please reassess your knowledge and sources before taking a stance that is very much opposed to the group you claim to represent, especially when you're supporting people that are mentally unstable as is clearly the case here.

Maxx, preferably I keep it that way, because if I do not and descend into all kinds of nuisance it will not be good for the quality of my mind. Silence is the key which unlocks hidden doors. Refinement and good thoughts help. It really does not matter if they catch the glimmer of it or not; hopefully it helps in some other way. At the very least I am not sullying my own mind with coarser vibrations. This can all be determined by the aforementioned factors: silence and good thoughts - but there is also a third factor involved: circumstance. Do not be a slave of circumstance, falling from the lofty heights of your mind and meditation unto the lower depths of no importance. Adaptation, yes; but succumbing, no... I have learnt my lessons from the past.

Ok I've asked around and someone from the sidelines just mentioned that he’s a complete nutjob known to worship and deify the likes of Father Sebastiaan like your ordinary keyboard warrior. He uses several different aliases, like for example Marcel Curiel Melendez. General consensus seems to be that he’s extremely out of touch with reality, which was already evidenced without knowing the guy. It appears that he got banned and rejected from his own halo of Strigoi Vii partymongers that only makes his case the more pathetic. The same sources reported him as banned from most vampire and occult groups, so even Sabretooth identify him as an online troll. His community presence is pretty limited and irrelevant, with a blog not even hitting the scale of a minor audience in a spammy Wordpress platform.

We can conclude he has no credibility even among role-players in his path, while occultists never heard about him. So pretty much as my original assessment, this is not worth the trouble. The kid is harmless and probably only needs his meds. He's fishing for attention among circles he sees as reputable and desirable. Ignore him and move along.

Lying does seem to come natural to you but I don’t think that is the trait of a real vampire at all but more of a parasite. Let me tell you a little secret, it’s actually the opposite. Vampirism is based on truth, honor and loyalty.

I’m not sure if you realize that your words only further validate what has been said about you.
