Hello, and a small comment.
Hey there,
Just joined this place, very nice and organized forum you have here, fortunately lacks the bullsh** that exist on other forums. ;)
I've been reading, or rather scanning along the threads that catch my eye. I may not post much but just wanted to say that I'm pretty impressed with the level of knowledge shared and shown here. Congrats.
Nice to meet you all,
John

Welcome. It's nice to see we still attract mature people, and repel those who pollute everywhere else.

^ I agree with that as well. I have been lurking on another site for quite a while now. There are many users there who literally write things such as: "Hi, my name is Katy. I just finished reading Twilight, and I have decided to become a vampire! Hopefully I can find a guy like Edward on here, lolz." I am really not even exaggerating that much, more like paraphrasing. (There's some people who are not like that, though, which is why I stick around.)

That's sick... and unfortunately that's what most of other "vampire forums" are all about.ElizabethBathory wrote:^ I agree with that as well. Re: Hello, and a small comment.
Speaking of Twilight...
I've found a vampire movie that I think is a little more accurate. It's called Tale of a Vampire, directed by Shimako Sato. Basically, the immortal lead is haunted by memories of a woman he's lost, and then he meets her again in modern-day London. What I like is that the vampire is a tortured soul, he kills mercilessly, he's creepy and socially awkward, he spends his days alone in a library researching--definitely not a dashing "cool" guy there to sweep the female lead off of her feet.

"Let the right one in" (Swedish title Låt den rätte komma in) by Thomas Alfredson is also one of the best vampire films of the past years.
