Chasing Mummies - Zahi Hawass on History Channel
Has anyone been watching the show on the History Channel? Here in New York, the show comes on Wednesdays at 10:00 pm EST.
Last week, Hawass' team pulled up a 9 ton pylon from the Temple of Isis which is buried in Alexandria Harbor. It is theorized that Cleopatra is buried in the temple. I hope they try to find her tomb at some point and maybe more temple artifacts.
Anyway, I enjoy the show. Hawass is a crusty thing at times. Very entertaining. Have you been watching?

I hate to double post but I didn't see an edit button.
It looks like you can view the show on the link above. I'm not sure how up-to-date the uploads are. There have been 4 or 5 shows so far.

I love this show. It seems to really embody what Egyptology is all about, and who Hawass is in general.

Hi Daniel,
I can't tell you how thrilled I was when this show came to TV. I'd watched Zahi Hawass on special History programs and just loved him and his work.
I have one of Hawass' books, The Lost Tombs of Thebes: Life in Paradise. It's a tome and I haven't read it yet. I'm trying to read books on Egyptian magick as well. And Jung. And the Asetian Bible came today.
