Welcomed Suffering for overall Growth, and a request for your opinions.
This is a subject that has been heavy on my mind for some time. I feel that Now is the right time to share.
I don't share many personal details regarding myself here, but I will say that I have endured much emotionally and physically in my lifetime. Early on, I questioned circumstances, and the oftentimes immense stress put upon my Path. I understood we are Tested to be strong, but due to my short-sightedness, ego, and selfishness, I thought what I came to experience to be unfair. To be a sentence, rather than a Gift.
I look back on these events now and see a pattern, where before I saw chaos driving me close to Death.
Even this, and the energy of it itself, I learned to respect and learn from, and use.
I have also learned to embrace any and all Pain of any kind, and have learned how to utilise and effectively change the energy created from Sadness/Suffering in a productive way, primarily for my progression as a Warrior, and to return to the form I once Was.
I will say from what I have experienced, in advice to you all, for what it may be worth, to never doubt the Path itself, and only doubt yourself as much as you doubt your Will to proceed.
The Path is infinitely larger than you initially comprehend.. the journey can and will continue for longer than your Eye can see.
Now, to this day, I do not know the ending. I do not know how far will be "Enough", but I know that I am Succeeding. That, alone, is greater motivation than seeing the end result, and that in time, I will accomplish my goal.
That which I wanted to state has been said and stated, and so I will progress onto the second point of this post. An inquiry.
What are your opinions regarding this? do you utilise negative forces, or cast them out, and focus only on the positive? or vice versa?
Any insight is valuable, and anything said can be learned from, so I am looking forward to hearing back from those who reply with their input.

Re: Welcomed Suffering for overall Growth, and a request for your opinions.
This was an interesting post and I agree with your views on suffering. It's not an easy path but it's certainly a powerful force, approaching our pains and pitfalls as learning experiences. That's vital to a balanced life and in my opinion a fundamental aspect of Asetianism, even if one sometimes neglected by newcomers.
I try to always turn suffering into something positive and explore it as another lesson, even if I may not always be successful. That's also why I respect the suffering of others and try to understand them to the best of my ability as many undergo pain beyond measure and hardship in life.

Pain shapes us and puts us in perspective.
Pain can be seen as just another natural element in life. By itself, an extreme. In the scope of all things, a necessary tool to keep it all in balance. It adds to the flow of things that just are.
I am reading your post and taking from it that you use it as a tool to shape your strength and persistence. Wishing you much to uncover in your journey forward.

The way I see it, pain is an inevitable source of change. If we do not embrace it, then it will cause suffering. If we do embrace it, it will create beauty.

I agree, Tehom. Great post.
I have endured great pain myself, in all manners. If you come out on top it is very beneficial but some let pain turn into suffering, therefore digging themselves deeper and deeper a hole which may not be easily escaped from. The key lesson here is perception.
"Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional." -Buddha
And as Luis Marques says, one can always learn more from pain than pleasure (paraphrased). Once we realize this, we can start the process of learning, rather than letting the negativity overtake us.
Balance is also key. We must embrace life, in all of its forms. Lastly, nothing is impossible... for the universe is infinite.
